We hadn’t had southern California Mexican food in a while. Some chips and salsa while waiting for our order, hot tortillas arrive ahead of our plates:

It’s still a blur of family gatherings since moving east. Now should be a slow summer, with one northern backpacking trip with a friend coming up.
